Hairdesigner: The Cutting Corner Team

For this month‚Äôs makeover, we totally redesigned Claire‚Äôs hair. When Claire came into The Cutting Corner for her makeover she told our Hairdesigner Kelly that she was completely fed up with her unruly hair and wanted a much shorter style which was going to be simple to look after and would look great.

Kelly started the transformation by cutting off the main bulk of Claire‚Äôs hair into a long textured crop. The front was cut short and an asymmetric feel was created which gave a slight disconnection. All the hair was ‚Äòpoint cut‚Äô to achieve softness on very short hair.

To emphasize the cut, Kelly ‚Äòunder-coloured‚Äô the fringe with Burgundy and deep Auburn. The same colours were scattered through the rest of the hair in tip highlights and a deep Brunette was added to the rest of the hair for richness and shine.

Kelly styled Claire‚Äôs new look by adding in some Cyclone by Sebastian which is like raw silk and adds tremendous shine to the hair, before finishing with Sebastian‚Äôs Spritz Forte‚Äô to add hold and extra shine.

Asked what she thought of her new look Claire said, ‚ÄúI love the cut and the colour, I feel so much more confident!‚Äù
