Sabrina is Promoted

Congratulations to Sabrina who has been promoted to Graduate Hairdesigner.
Sabrina who joined us as a Saturday Assistant whilst in her last year at school, has been a superb Technical Assistant. She has built a fantastic reputation with her technical excellence and delightful personality and is going to be an exceptional addition to our Hairdesigner team.
New Senior Hairdesigner

Congratulations to Shelley who has been promoted to Senior Hairdesigner.
Shelley started her hairdressing career with us as a Saturday Assistant and has been with us ever since. She excelled as a technical Assistant and has achieved even more as a Hairdesigner.
Apart from building a strong and loyal clientèle, Shelley has taken over from salon owner Jez as the Salon Trainer and has almost completed her A1 Assessors Award and is soon to begin her teacher training qualification.
Shelley is a regular winner of our Team Member of the Month as she continually demonstrates all that The Cutting Corner looks to be from her advanced hairdressing skills, her ambition to learn more and exceptional customer service.
February 2010 Team Member of the Month

February was a fantastic month for Ciara who has won our most recent Team Member of the Month.
Ciara is half way through her training apprenticeship and showed in February what can be achieved through hard work, determination and a fantastic attitude. Ciara performed exceptionally well in all of her N.V.Q. level 2 assessments and her assessor was amazed and delighted at the level of experience and confidence she consistently demonstrated.
At the moment, Ciara is only with us 4 days a week as she became a Mum in 2009, but she shows just how amazing our young people can be and will be making her young lad very proud.
2009 Team Member of the Year

Congratulations to Danielle who won our Team Member of the Year for 2009.
Danielle, who only joined us last March, has had a fantastic year and her reward is very well deserved!
The criteria, which is decided upon by the team, recognises the efforts and successes of the team in everything from skill advancement to customer service to helping make The Cutting Corner No.1.
For her prize, Danielle received a trophy, Top Shop vouchers and a day at Wella World Studios in London working with one of the industry's great hairdressers.
With such a fantastic start, we're all very excited about Danielle's future.

January 2010 Team Member of the Month

Sabrina ended 2009 & began this year in style by winning our Team Member of the Month for December 2009 & January 2010.
Sabrina is our Head Assistant and has been with The Cutting Corner for over 3 years since 1st joining as a Saturday Assistant.
We launched this award 6 years ago to recognise the Team Member that shines brightest and demonstrates the greatest level of achievement, initiative, skill advancement and excellence in client care.
Sabrina has always been a fantastic Team Member, but she now demonstrates excellent leadership with her team of Assistants as well as the highest standards of technical ability. Sabrina's client care is exceptional and she delights everyone she looks after.
It is extremely rare for any Team Member to win it two months running and 2010 promises to be a very exciting year for our Sabrina as she begins her Countdown to Graduation...watch this space!
