Big Brother tops our charts!

Big Brother and X Factor scooped the top spot, with 57% of the vote, in The Cutting Corner's recent survey into what visitors to our site like to watch on TV. Coming second was Holidays and Going Out receiving 28% with Real Life and Politics getting just 15%!

Vogue is No.1

It was a close contest in last month's poll as to what magazines clients like to read in the salon, with glossy magazines like Vogue and Cosmopolitan coming top with 55% of the vote. Second was O.K. and Hello with almost 44% with more traditional magazines like Woman's Own getting just 9 votes out of over 600!

Boots Makeover Day

On Wednesday 22nd March 2006, Jez and Anna spent the day in Boots in Luton's Arndale Centre creating free Makeovers.
They spent most of the day cutting and styling, but also demonstrated barrel curls with ceramic straightening irons and Tanagra, the world's first permanent hair repair system, which is exclusive in Luton at The Cutting Corner.
Once the hair was completed the girls from Boots perfected the looks by doing their make-up.
The day was a huge success and the plans are to repeat it every six weeks. Jez said " It was great fun. Anna and I really enjoyed showing what we can do and we can't wait to do it all again!"
