In September 2001 The Cutting Corner was awarded the prestigious Investor In People award. The salon was re-assessed in August 2004 and again in August 2007 and on both occasions passed with flying colours.
This highly sought after award recognises organisations that invest in their people. Although there are thousands of Investor In People companies in the U.K. it is quite rare in hairdressing and The Cutting corner is the only hair salon in Luton to have achieved this standard. The assessor and awarding panel were particularly impressed with the commitment and planned approach to the training and development of the whole team, as well as the friendliness and proactive attitude of the team.
The Cutting Corner is the first UK salon to be assessed against the new Profile version of Investor In People and achieved the highest level of any organisation in the East of England in the indicator 'Reward & Recognition'.
